Chemsys is working with Arise India Limited to install the 5 Kwp Off grid Solar System in 120 number of government Inter Colleges in Uttar Pradesh, India. The total capacity of solar system is 600 Kwp. The scope of work requires us to supply the materials and install it on sites. We are responsible for Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) for the entire project. For this project we brought solar panels from Rhine Solar Limited, Power Conditioning Unit from Consul Neowatt and Batteries from Arise India Limited. There are several types of solar systems such as
1. Grid Connected System
A grid connected photovoltaic power system or grid connected PV power system is electricity generating solar PV power system that is connected to the utility grid. A grid connected PV system consists of solar panels, one or several inverters, a power conditioning unit and grid connection equipment. They range from small residential and commercial rooftop systems to large utility scale solar power station. Unlike stand alone power systems, a grid connected system rarely includes an integrated battery solution, as they are still very expensive.
2. Grid Tight System
Grid-tied, on-grid, utility-interactive, grid intertie and grid back feeding are all terms used to describe the same concept – a solar system that is connected to the utility power grid. When excess electricity generates that well be sale to electricity board.
Advantages of Grid-Tied Systems1. Save more money with net metering
An off-grid solar system (off-the-grid, standalone) is the obvious alternative to one that is grid-tied. For homeowners that have access to the grid, off-grid solar systems are usually out of question. Here`s why: To ensure access to electricity at all times, off-grid solar systems require battery storage and a backup generator (if you live off-the-grid). On top of this, a battery bank typically needs to be replaced after 10 years. Batteries are complicated, expensive and decrease overall system efficiency.
Hybrid solar systems combine the best from grid-tied and off-grid solar systems. These systems can either be described as off-grid solar with utility backup power, or grid-tied solar with extra battery storage. It is less expensive than off-grid solar systems.

The successful operation of this project has helped these colleges to untap the benefits of uninterrupted current supply.
We have assembled the solar panels according to International Standards on site. Assistance from trained personnel was also provided to carry out various tests during commissioning of this project to ensure efficient working of the system.

A growing number of countries have established incentive programs for the development of solar and other renewable energy sources, such as
(i) net metering laws that allow on-grid end users to sell electricity back to the grid at retail prices,
(ii) direct subsidies to end users to offset costs of photovoltaic equipment and installation charges,
(iii) low interest loans for financing solar power systems and tax incentives; and
(iv) government standards that mandate minimum usage levels of renewable energy sources.
Despite the cost, an advantage of photovoltaic systems is that they can be used in remote areas. Anywhere a diesel generator is the technology of choice, many times a photovoltaic system is a much better life-cycle cost option.Stand-alone photovoltaic systems produce power independently of the utility grid. In some off-the-grid locations even one half kilometer from power lines, stand-alone photovoltaic systems can be more cost-effective than extending power lines. They are especially appropriate for remote, environmentally sensitive areas, such as national parks, cabins, and remote homes.

Chemsys has marvelously done Engineering Procurement Construction EPC for numbers of bio-diesel projects. Now Chemsys is successfully engaged in solar energy. Chemsys is handling 600 Kwp Solar PV Power Plant Project. After successfully installation of this Solar PV Power Plant another 15 MW project is on the way.
